What
is Chiropractic care?
Chiropractic care is a safe
and effective way to help the joints, muscles and nerves
work better in the body. Chiropractors, by choice, do
not prescribe medications or perform surgery. Therefore,
risks of injury to patients are very low.
What
you can expect:
On your initial visit you will
first consult with the doctor. A thorough physical
examination will follow, which may require x-ray
evaluation. Based on the above information gathered,
your specific problem will be diagnosed and a treatment
protocol will be designed to help you as quickly as
possible.
Most treatments are painless, require
20-40 minutes to complete, and cost between $35 and
$65.
Once I start care, will I have to keep
going back?
Treatment protocols are designed to
provide the quickest recovery possible. Dr. Guarino
encourages and directs patients to participate in their
recovery with exercises and stretches so that they don’t
have to "keep going back."
How much time does
a typical treatment take?
Most treatments require
20-40 minutes to complete.
What about the
costs? Do you accept insurance?
Yes. We will be
happy to bill your insurance company on your behalf. Dr.
Guarino is a provider on several healthcare plans
including Medicare. Charges not paid by insurance are,
of course, the patient’s responsibility. Typical office
visits range from $30 to $65.
